Lili's Bio

An actress, singer, and plus-size model, Liliane has made a career playing formidable leading ladies and delicious character roles. Favorite roles include Helen in Fat Pig (Aurora Theatre Co. - San Fransisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award Nomination) (SpeakEasy Stage Co. - Elliot Norton and IRNE Award Nominations), Mrs. Van Regal in The Most Ridiculous Thing You Ever Hoid! (Urban Stages - NYMF Award Winner for "Outstanding Ensemble"), Luce in The Boys From Syracuse (Landmarks Orchestra and Commonwealth Shakespeare Co.), Rosemary Clooney in I Wanna Be Rosie (La Mama, E.T.C. - New York Innovative Theatre Award Nomination), Alice Beane in Titanic (North American Tour), Nurse in Romeo and Juliet (CT Free Shakespeare), Maureen in Skin Deep (Majestic Theater), and Paulette in Legally Blonde (NextDoor Theater). She has also appeared at Lincoln Center in Scrooge, the Musical (Walter Reade Theater) and Monodramas (New York City Opera).

 

In addition to her extensive stage credits, Liliane recently completed filming for the award winning film Ghost Light, starring alongside Roger Bart, Tom Riley, Shannyn Sossamon, Carey Elwes, Carol Kane, Danielle Campbell, Scott Adsit, and Steve Tom. She was a series regular on the PBS television show, "Kid Fitness", playing Terry the Turtle. She also played the recurring role of Alison in the Israeli HOT3 TV mini series, "Ananda", shot on location in Jaisalmer, India. And you can hear her bone-chilling performance as "Screaming Lady on Ferris Wheel" in Men in Black 3.

 

Amongst her various special skills, Liliane has been a dialect coach for National Theatre for the Performing Arts, National Theatre of Arts and Education, CT Free Shakespeare, and for David O Russel's, American Hustle. Additionally, she is a scene, monologue, and career coach for actors of all ages and experience levels. She also makes fabulous balloon hats and can communicate in any language.

 

Outside of her work in show business, Lili has been a lifelong activist and advocate for social justice and empowerment, animal and environmental protection/sustainability, and human/civil rights. She has knocked on doors from DC to Maine (and everywhere in between) and marched in countless demonstrations. She has made phone calls, written letters, and raised money. She has also been a dedicated volunteer at Camp Sunshine Retreat for Chronically Ill Children and their Families in Casco, ME since 2003. 

 

Liliane was born in New Hyde Park, NY. She grew up in Great Neck, New York and earned her BFA in Acting from Boston University College of Fine Arts in 2002, cum laude. She adores her kooky, magical family and her amazing friends/extended family. She also loves Shakespeare, skiing, hiking, traveling, adventures, the smell of fresh bay leaves on the way to the Muir Woods, good food, fun music, swing dancing, the PeopleMover, miniature donkeys, and capybaras. 

Liliane resides in MA with her tall and brilliant husband, her 3 beautiful and brilliant sons, and her (literally) traffic-stopping dog. She is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
